History
The Efficient Business was founded by Derick Schaefer in 2006 with the aspiration of helping small and medium business owners navigate the complicated business aspects of online marketing. Derick Schaefer formed the business with three inspirations. First is his passion for business and technology. More importantly, during the information technology revolution, he saw a trend of individuals and companies taking advantage of other's lack of understanding of technology. This became most noticeable in the area of Internet marketing. The last is that Mr. Schaefer saw a significant amount of money from the "Dot Com" having gone underground and resurfacing as what is referred to as "Web 2.0" services. A large percentage of these services are focused on business results through online marketing.
